Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in sub-Saharan Africa. Too often it is diagnosed late, because screening is out of reach and specialists are few. We are building two connected products to change that.
IntelliBra is a portable, AI-assisted screening system for clinics that have no radiologist on site. Nurses and general practitioners run the screening; specialists review results remotely; patients follow their results on their phone.
The ANORA Cancer Registry is a bilingual data platform for recording and following breast cancer cases in Cameroon, so that hospitals, public-health authorities and researchers can rely on accurate data.
IntelliBra and the registry are separate products designed to work together.
A trained nurse or GP screens a woman with IntelliBra in a local clinic.
A specialist reviews the results remotely and recommends next steps.
Suspected cases are referred; a biopsy confirms or rules out cancer.
With the patient’s consent, confirmed cases are notified to the registry.
Anonymised data informs public-health policy, planning and research.
